Delivered in four sessions, these workshops will be a combination of theoretical presentations and practical experience, providing an introduction to the newly developed modern style of Arabic calligraphy Al Wissam.
The workshops will begin with an illustrated lecture on the development of this style of Arabic calligraphy, giving an understanding of its historical context and how it was developed leading to contemporary style.
The workshop will also include a demonstration of how to make a calligraphy reed pen.
The workshop leader will work with the participants to develop their individual skills using the Al Wissam style of calligraphy.
تُقسَّم ورشة العمل هذه إلى 4 جلسات، وتجمع بين العروض النظرية والتجارب
العملية من أجل التمهيد لأسلوب الخط العربي المطوّر حديثاً باسم
“الوسام”. تبدأ ورشة العمل بمحاضرة مصوّرة تشرح كيف تطوّر هذا الخط، وتعطي لمحة عن
إطاره التاريخي وتطوّره حتى بات يتّخذ أسلوباً معاصراً. كما تشمل الورشة أيضاً عرضاً توضيحياً حول كيفية صنع قصبة لكتابة الخط العربي.
جدير بالذكر أنّ قائد ورشة العمل سيعمل إلى جانب المشاركين لتطوير
مهاراتهم الفردية باستخدام خط “الوسام”.
